The Digital Fabrication Alliance organizes events, both regionally and nationally to coalesce the digital fabrication community. Our first event in 2009, was hosted by the University of Texas Arlington School of Architecture. Today we are in the midst of a growing series of conferences and a national trade show is in the works.
By establishing media partnerships, university support, and industry collaboration, DFA Events are broad based and range from the educational to the commercial.
APRIL
The APPLIED: Research through Fabrication Conference as part of the TEX-FAB *Digital Fabrication Alliance 3.0 will gather leading proponents of applied research as a nexus of both academic and professional activity. The three day conference will be held at the College of Architecture at the University of Texas at San Antonio, with one day or speakers and two days of workshops. ( visit conference site HERE )
